Our Mission:

Founded in 1987, the Oromo Community of Georgia (OCG) is a non-profit organization committed to serving, strengthening and supporting the Oromo Community of Georgia.

 

Our Goals:

  • Bring together all the Oromo people living in the state of Georgia to preserve the Oromo identity.

  • Seek solutions to different economic and social problems facing our community.

  • Develop the Oromo culture and language

  • Assist in the settlement of Oromo refugees in Georgia.

  • Organize social events to strengthen the community.

  • Create ties and exchange information with other communities, the government and non-profit organizations.
